About Stentor:
The company was founded in 1998 and employed during acquisition (by Philips in 2005) 144 people. Through its iSyntax technology, Stentor has created the iSite PACS product line that includes the iSite Enterprise web-based image distribution system, the iSite Radiology diagnostic reading and iVault always on-line medical image storage.
In 2005 the annual sales growth was projected at 50 percent. The main cause of the growth was the company’s innovative ‘pay-per-study’ business model of which Stentor was the first introducing this in the medical industry.
Solution:
Stentor’s PACS technology in 1998 was able to transmit medical images – with full resolution – 4 to 16 times faster than any competitor, and with significantly less hardware costs for hospitals. The design of the solution in combination with the unique service delivery model and commitment to customer support. This resulted in a solution centered around the customer needs.
